About the Exhibition
Lucille Enel and Isabelle Gavalda were appointed curators of the 2023 “The Art of Absolue” exhibition and selected ten artists from France and China to interpret the iconic rose of Lancôme brand under four themes: Perpetual Rose, Perpetual Youth, Perpetual Sense, Perpetual Life.
Each space is not only an immersive experience but also a close-up perception and exploration of the artist’s creation of time and eternity.
This exhibition transcends boundaries and puts the spotlight on the iconic Lancôme Rose. The 10 internationally renowned artists, (Wang Kaifang, Jiang Zhi, Cai Zhisong, Tian Xiaolei, Luo Daishi, Cyril Lancelin, Emmanuelle Moureaux, Pierre Brault, William Amor, Danni Zheng) drew inspiration from Lancôme Absolue’s faithful pursuit of time and eternity and created majestic artworks that break beyond the boundaries of imagination to epitomize the brilliance of time.
Somexing Art Agency directed the artistic concept of the exhibition through the selection of the artists profiles and the follow-up of the art pieces commissions until their set up in Shanghai on the exhibition site.
