About the artist
Cyril Lancelin is a French artist, and founder of the “Town and concrete” studio. He develops a hybrid work made up of sculptures, immersive installations, drawings, virtual experiences in the Metaverse and videos that forge links between the physical and the fictional.
It is from a plastic vocabulary based on primitive geometry that he links architecture and the human body, the everyday and the functional, the perennial and the ephemeral, science and nature. He has had solo exhibition all over the world. He has also cooperated with many brands such as Porsche, Adidas, La Prairie and etc.
Walk into a magical sensory experience created by Cyril Lancelin: surrounded by glistening golden light and smooth winding lines, the viewers are invited to connect and to feel the artwork; use their eyes to take in the visual feast in all of its grandeur.
When the viewer looks at the connecting golden spheres, the movement triggers human emotion connected to the kinetics and geometrical shapes, opening multi-dimensional sensory imagination in rays of cascading golden shine. The spheres’ mirrored surface reflects the beauty of the world and all life within. It is a theatrical stage where all that walks through, pass, and around the Pyramid of Care becomes a part of the art. By interacting with the installation, visitors transform the installation to the next stenographic level, where ever-changing, forever fleeting reflections all come to the same enduring beauty, where the transitory seconds inspire and shift into the eternal.
