For Lancôme’s Art of Absolue 2025 program, Somexing Artistic commissioned Chinese American artist Juju Wang to create Garden of Everything. The monumental installation celebrates the union of nature, science, and emotion. Known for her poetic, immersive environments, Wang brings her signature sensitivity to this dialogue between art and innovation, transforming material into metaphor.
Inspired by Lancôme’s Domaine de la Rose and Pro-Xylane, a molecule that embodies the brand’s vision of regenerative beauty, the project explores the connection between botanical vitality and scientific discovery. Under Somexing Artistic’s curatorial direction, Garden of Everything becomes a space where light and matter converge. As such, its translates Lancôme’s philosophy of eternal renewal into an artistic experience that bridges tradition, modernity, and imagination.
Entitled Garden of Everything, the installation by Juju Wang takes the form of a majestic openwork sphere. Its is crafted from stainless steel and gold leaf. Its surface, engraved with delicate vegetal motifs, captures and refracts light to project floral arabesques in motion—a living landscape that shifts with each change of perspective. Through this interplay of engraving, reflection, and illumination, the artwork embodies a perpetual cycle of transformation, where nature’s breath meets human ingenuity.
Created through a meticulous process combining metalwork precision and hand-applied gold detailing, the piece mirrors the balance between laboratory and garden, science and sensibility. The sphere becomes both an object and an atmosphere—a poetic monument to regeneration and harmony.
