At the end of August, Daigo Daikoku unveiled A Gift from Eternal Rose in Shenzhen
Paying tribute to the Absolue Rose, the installation immersed visitors in a world where light, silk, and sound intertwined. At the center, a suspended rose; around it, hand-dyed silk ribbons slowly turned to the rhythm of a gentle melody.

It was a fleeting moment where the boundaries between nature and humanity, time and stillness, dissolved. The artwork celebrated beauty shaped by the passage of time, inviting visitors into profound sensory contemplation.

This large-scale, site-specific light installation embodies a variety of archetypical and physical associations - from microscopic observations and electromagnetic wave dynamics to the atmospheric phenomena of a whirlwind and even a spiritual epiphany.
Fluxing between the natural and supernatural, Ascent offers a unique immersive experience that invites the viewers to transform their perception and become its centre point.
The light and the fog create a monumental dynamic space that opens up a new dimension and focuses attention on the viewer’s bodily sensations within the immersive environment.
